How to switch to GMF Health
There are many reasons you might want to change your health insurer – and whether you’re looking for better value, better cover or better service, we can help. It’s easy to switch to one of our health cover options.
Here’s what you need to know about switching to GMF Health:
- No waiting periods – If you switch within two months of leaving your previous fund, and have already served the waiting periods for your new level of cover, you’ll receive immediate GMF Health cover without waiting periods.
- Receive the same benefits – We recognise the time you’ve been covered by your previous fund, so you’ll receive the same benefits as a member who has been covered by us for the same amount of time.
