Dental Centre
Given the overwhelming demand for dental services in the Goldfields area, GMF Health decided to establish and fit out a dental centre in the GMF Health building in Egan Street.
The centre is leased, owned and operated by a qualified dentist and provides expert dental treatment to all local residents. The centre provides our members with access to quicker care and may prevent them from needing to travel to Perth for treatment.
How do GMF Health members benefit?
Members with any level of Necessities cover can take advantage of the preferred provider arrangement between GMF Health and the GMF Dental Centre – which will save you money by limiting your out-of-pocket expenses.
And remember – you can claim electronically which means you receive your benefit on the spot and only need to pay any out-of-pocket cost.

GMF Dental Centre schools promotion
In 2008 the GMF Dental Centre developed a dental hygiene program to encourage students to take an interest in their dental health by putting some fun into the process of cleaning their teeth.
Students are provided with a calendar for one month and if they clean their teeth every morning and every night, they can put a sticker in the appropriate box each time. Students who complete the calendar will receive a prize.
An employee from the GMF Dental Centre can also attend your school to explain the activity and give a presentation about the importance of dental health to students and parents.
