Schools Challenge

As an incentive for students to get active, GMF Health offered $1000 worth of prizes to the top three schools who enter the largest teams in the 2010 GMF Health ‘Give it a Go’ Kalgoorlie-Boulder Fun Run and Walk.

The winning team was the school with the highest percentage of students participating in proportion to their school’s size. Prizes are also awarded to the winning school’s School Coordinator. 

School

  • 1st prize winner - Goldfields Baptist College won a Trophy + $500 voucher for sporting goods
  • 2nd prize winner - Boulder Primary School won a Trophy + $300 voucher for sporting goods
  • 3rd prize winner - East Kalgoorlie Primary School won a $200 voucher for sporting goods

School Coordinator 

  • 1st prize - Kerry Van Der Wal won a dinner and a double movie pass
  • 2nd prize - Jordi Reilly won a double movie pass
  • 3rd prize - Bernadette Delaney won a double movie pass
